Jake Paul vs Ben Askren Live stream: You probably wouldn’t have guessed one of the most hyped boxing fights of 2021 would involve YouTuber Jake Paul. But here we are as Paul gets set to take on former MMA star Ben Askren on Saturday, April 17 at 9 p.m. EST.

With a voiceover provided by Triller co-owner Snoop Dogg, the new video teases the main event clash that will pit Paul against Askren in a boxing match between the YouTube celebrity and the former UFC contender.

“Ben’s gonna have to kill me to win the Jake Paul vs Ben Askren fight,” Paul promises during the new commercial.

While he only has two professional bouts on his resume against opponents without any previous boxing experience, Paul is currently a slight favorite to win the fight that headlines Tiller’s latest pay-per-view offering.

The main event between Paul and Askren is expected to start around 9 p.m. But you’ll get a barrage of big-name music performances first from Justin Bieber, Diplo, The Black Keys, Doja Cat, Major Lazer and Mt. Westmore, a new West Coast rap supergroup featuring Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40, and Too $hort.

Many believe this is the fight where one of the Paul brothers – both Jake and Logan have turned to celebrity boxing – can finally prove they’re serious athletes. What’s interesting is that Askren isn’t much of a boxer himself. Despite fighting at the top levels of MMA, Askren was primarily a wrestler. In fact, Paul is the favorite among oddsmakers heading into the fight.

Celebrities will also be in attendance, including Pete Davidson (on commentary), Mario Lopez, model Taylor Hill and TikTok stars Dixi and Charli D’Amelio. It’s all part of fight company Triller’s brand of combining music, celebrities and boxing into one giant spectacle.

Askren will be coming out of retirement to face Paul after they got into a heated war of words over Twitter. The former Olympic wrestler will be boxing professionally for the first time in his career, although his combat sports history includes title reigns in both Bellator and ONE Championship.

The upcoming Thriller Fight Club card will also feature a number of musical performances including Justin Bieber and The Black Keys during the four-hour card that will air live on traditional pay-per-view outlets on cable and satellite as well as FITE TV online.

In the aftermath of that win, Paul and Askren began their war of words and that evolved into a confirmed fight.

The bout – and the bizarre undercard before it – will take place at the incredible 79,000-seater Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
